In case you hadn’t heard, Ray Rice was indicted on Thursday afternoon for aggravated assault on his fiance Janay Palmer at a casino on February 15th in which he was seen dragging her unconscious body in and out of an elevator.

According to charging documents, Rice allegedly struck her, knocking her unconscious, and was later charged with aggravated assault.

Rice was indicted on Thursday on charges that could put him behind bars for three to five years.

If that happens, he’ll at least have a wife to visit him.

Rice was married on Friday to Janay Palmer, just one day after being indicted on the charges. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the ceremony had been planned for March 28th for several months and was carried out as planned.

Rice nor Palmer wanted to move forward with the alleged charges, but when video surfaced on the incident, the Atlantic County Prosecutors office reviewed it and officially charged Rice.

At the time of the incident, both Palmer and Rice were both charged for simple assault until the video was released.

With the marriage, it’s clear they’re both happy with the way things are going, but Rice still faces charges.

We hope they live happily ever after.
