Report: Bills keeping fullback Frank Summers
WGR 550’s Joe Buscaglia is reporting that the Buffalo Bills will keep fullback Frank Summers on the 53 man roster. This is the second year in a row that the Bills keep the FB for the regular season and has heavy implications of how the final roster will look.
Hearing that the #Bills will indeed keep a fullback and that Frank Summers has made the team for the second straight year.

The Bills acquired running backs Anthony Dixon and Bryce Brown this offseason, while extending veteran Fred Jackson. It looks like they will keep four RB’s on the final roster but that is yet to be known for sure yet.
The real question then comes down to the tight end position then. It seems at this point that Scott Chandler and Lee Smith are both locks, while second year player Chris Gragg has shown potential. Bills management has been high on Tony Moeaki but with his recurring injuries, they might have to cut their losses at this point and only keep three TE’s on the final roster.
The definite odd man out at this point is fullback Evan Rodriguez who has also seen time at tight end this offseason. We will all know by 4pm EST August 30th what the final 53 man roster is but it looks as if Frank Summers as earned his spot on the Buffalo Bills.
