Report: Falcons cutting defense end Ray Edwards
According to Jay Glazer, the Atlanta Falcons are cutting defense end Ray Edwards. The former Minnesota Vikings defense end, signed with the Atlanta Falcons on July 29, 2011. During the 2011 season, Edwards had 33 tackles, 2 fumble recoveries and 3.5 sacks.
While in Minnesota, Edwards recorded 29.5 sacks and forced 6 fumbles. Edwards was considered an important free agent signing for the Atlanta Falcons.
Edwards, has been a disappointment throughout the 2012 NFL season.
