Report: Rams Wide Receiver Nick Miller Suspended First Four Games of 2012
Per a report from Jim Thomas of the St Louis Dispatch,St. Louis Rams wide receiver Nick Miller has been suspended the first four games of the 2012 season for testing positive for performance enhanding drugs. The suspension will not take place until rosters are finalized, allowing Miller to take part in preseason workouts and off-season activities. An undrafted free agent out of Southern Utah in 2009, Miller was signed by the Oakland Raiders, but did not play due to a shin injury. Playing a limited role for the Raiders in 2010 and 2011, he was released in October of last year and signed with the Rams the same month. Miller’s career highlights include two punt returns for touchdowns, including the Rams franchise record of 88 yards. Miller’s career stats as a receiver are four catches for 48 yards.
