RG3: I want Redskins to make Cowboys Stadium ‘home’
On Saturday, the Washington Redskins held a pep rally at FedEx Field for the team’s fan. During the rally, quarterback Robert Griffin III took some time to talk to the crowd and get the fans excited about the possibility of him coming back week one. Griffin, took some time to do some jumping jacks and even spoke about the team’s biggest rivals, the Dallas Cowboys.
At one point, Griffin was asked what his favorite moment was from his rookie season and he chose his time in Dallas as the best memory.
“You’ve got to start with the last game against the Cowboys,” Griffin said, according to The Dallas Morning News. “Alfred Morris runs for 200 yards, does a great job. Then we go back to the game on Thanksgiving and we spanked the Cowboys.”
Griffin also spoke about hearing his name chanted in Cowboys Stadium.
“We made Cowboys Stadium our home. And that’s what we want to continue to do,” he said.
The first game between the Cowboys and Redskins comes week six on Sunday Night Football.
