Roddy White Arrested for Failure to Appear
According to a report from Mike Morris of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Atlanta Falcons star wide receiver Roddy White was arrested for failure to appear on a warrant that was issued for his failure to appear regarding “non-transparent material on windows.” White was initially pulled over for going 75mph in a 65mph on I-85 by Gwinnett County Police in Georgia at 4:30 a.m. After posting a $168 bond, he was released around 6:00 a.m.
White released his Audi A8 to a passenger who was with him and he received a warning for speeding.
The four-time Pro Bowl wide receiver has been with the Falcons his entire career after being drafted 27th overall by the team out of the University of Alabama. The Falcons issued this statement early Tuesday morning:
“We are aware of the incident involving Roddy White. We anticipate this will be resolved shortly and we will have no further comment at this time.”
In 141 career games, White has 685 receptions for 9,436 yards and 55 touchdowns.
