After suffering another injury during Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins, New York Jets corner back Darrelle Revis looked to be out for the season. Jets coach Rex Ryan confirmed this news, at a press conference, moments ago that cornerback Darrelle Revis has a torn ACL and will miss the rest of the season, per multiple reports.

Revis went down without contact in yesterday’s win at Miami, the initial reports were not encouraging.

It’s a huge blow for the Jets, as it would be for any team that lost one of the top 10 players in the league.

Ryan said he had a simple message for his team: ”Everybody has to step up, … and that’s it.”

Without their shut down corner back, the Jets struggled to stop the Miami Dolphins yesterday and could be in trouble for the rest of the season.

While the team did beat Miami in overtime, it is understandable that the team might struggle without their superstar defensive player.

The Jets play the 49ers, at home, on Sunday.
