Seahawks OL in court for Public Urination Charges
Sometimes I see reports that make me laugh, sometimes I see some that make me shake my head in disbelief. This is one of the latter.
Seahawks OL John Moffitt missed OTA’s yesterday with the team because he had a court appearance scheduled on hearing charges brought against him for allegedly urinating next to a parked car at a bar in Bellevue, Washington.
Yes, he’s being charged for taking a leak next to a parked vehicle while at a bar.
Now, there’s always more to the story, he’s also being charged for obstruction of justice and trespassing, but those aren’t silly charges like him having to drain the main vein. Moffitt was supposedly banned from a shopping center in January of 2012, and he showed up there last June. Police got word that he was there when he shouldn’t have been, and they went looking for him, when they spotted him and a buddy, they allegedly ran from authorities, ducking into a series of Condominiums.
Moffitt has not yet been convicted of the charges, but will see himself in court again June 14th.
I don’t blame him, when you gotta go, you gotta go!
