Down the Seam: Top Five Fantasy TE’s for Week 15

  • Justin "Arby" Arbogast

Week 15 already, and two weeks in on your playoffs! If you’ve checked back for updates that means you’ve done pretty good all season and you’re still alive! That, or you’re the person in the league that has an unbelievable luck streak. Either way, welcome back!

Here’s our top five tight ends for the week!

5. Jason Witten @ Packers

Witten had a pedestrian game last week, as the Cowboys flatlined, but he did still account for a score which he usually does. The Packers defense is nothing to be scared of and Witten should put up solid numbers as the Cowboys look to get a game back in Conference.

4. Jordan Cameron @ Bears

The Bears defense played pretty well last week against Dallas, but they haven’t looked that good all season. They held Jason Witten in check, but still gave up a score to him. They’ll also be focusing on Flash Gordon, opening up more targets for Cameron, who continues to impress each week. I have a good feeling about him this week.

3. Vernon Davis @ Bucs

For some reason, the Bucs and the 49ers always put on a good show. The last few matchups between the two have been pretty exciting, and lots of points are scored. This Bucs team is different than those in the past, and while they’ve looked better as of late – I don’t think they have it in them to slow down Vernon Davis who has locked himself in as the go-to guy for Colin Kaepernick.

2. Julius Thomas vs Chargers

Thomas saw the field last week after two straight inactives, but he made up for it real quick, grabbing several receptions from the Sheriff early on. Thomas faces Eric Weddle this week, and it should be fun to watch – but with Wes Welker inactive, Thomas will get to play in the slot a little too, and gallop his way to the endzone for a few scores. Thomas plays TONIGHT so plan accordingly.

1. Jimmy Graham @ Rams

Jimmy Graham holds the tops spot again this week, and there’s not much to say about him. This dude is something else and you’d be out of your mind not to start him.

Honorable Mentions: Greg Olsen vs Jets, Charles Clay vs Pats, Tony Gonzalez vs. Redskins.
