Tony Gonzalez has been impressive so far this season as he came into today with 50 catches for 495 yards. He improved on those numbers today by adding 11 catches for 122 yards and two touchdowns. One of those touchdowns gave Gonzalez his 100th career touchdown, tying him for 6th all time in receiving touchdowns. Gonzalez is currently second all time in career receptions and is still 97 touchdowns away from Jerry Rice for the most all time.

Today, Gonzalez did tie Tim Brown and Steve Largent with his 100th career touchdown, before surpassing them with his 101st touchdown.

Gonzalez is an ageless wonder and has been such a steady constant at tight end, that it is not shocking he hit 100 career touchdowns.

Gonzalez currently leads all tight ends in career touchdowns, receptions and receiving yards.

  • payton, great quaterback, SUPERBOWL? YEA!

  • Brick-hand Sanders from the Steelers? Is Manning a receivers coach now? Manning was on his game. Weren’t the Chargers without their starting corners? Still played great. Broncos defense stuffing the Chargers running game was impressive. That 30 yarder floated in there nice. Is it me or does Peyton’s passes look like a 30 yard bomb? That crap won’t work in the playoffs when Ravens defenders are used to practicing against Flacco who throws 70-yarders.
