Watch: Michigan State head coach dodges Gatorade bath
After overcoming a three point deficit at half-time, Michigan State rallied to beat the Stanford Cardinals, 24-20. After stopping the Cardinals on 4th and 1, the Spartans locked down a victory and won their first Rose Bowl game since 1988. The Spartan win also marks the first Big Ten win in the Rose Bowl since 2010. The Spartans finished the season 13-1 and should be a top 3 ranked team when the final rankings come out.
When most teams win the big game, the players find a way to cover their head coach in Gatorade, effectively known as a Gatorade bath.
While the Michigan State win certainly deserved a Gatorade bath for Spartans head coach Mike Dantonio, the coach was a little too quick for his players and actually dodged the bath.
