I guess you can chalk this little mistake up to somebody not paying attention. With 1:29 left in the third quarter, Bills QB Thaddeus Lewis drew in the defense, looking like he was going to tuck the ball and run. Instead, he floated a pass over the heads of New England’s defense and connected with T.J. Graham for a 12-yard touchdown to make the score 16-10. Apparently, T.J. Graham wasn’t the guy that caught the pass though…. who the heck is this guy?
I would say that it was just a simple mistake, but upon further research I found T. Streeter, and he’s a wide receiver for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, originally selected in the 6th round of the 2012 draft by Baltimore. He was signed to Buffalo’s practice squad at the beginning of the season, but never saw the field. I guess you can just chalk this one up to a mistake by CBS, but it’s good to know that they have Buffalo’s long-gone practice squad players at the ready in case they start catching touchdown passes… oops! At least they got TJ Graham’s number right.
