I think it is fair to say that the New York Islanders are the least relevant team in the New York area. They haven’t been a contender for a championship in a while, and lack the superstar power to really fill the seats. The team will be moving to Brooklyn in 2015-2016 in the hopes of drawing some new fans at the Barclays Center.
In the mean time, the team may be looking to fill seats any way they can, and recruiting former NFL wide receiver, and the always popular Chad Ochocinco to play goalie may be one of them.

Okay, so they’re probably joking… probably. I’d probably watch Ochocinco attempt to play goalie at least once, though.
