This is a sight that Predators fans hope to see much, much more of in the coming years. Two of Nashville’s promising (and youngest) players, D Seth Jones, the No. 4 overall pick in this past year’s draft, and LW Filip Forsberg, the No. 11 pick in the 2012 Draft who was traded Nashville last year, hooked up for a couple of “firsts” in their young careers.
Forsberg scored Nashville’s second goal to tie their game tonight against the Minnesota Wild at 1-1 (the Predators would go on to win 3-2). This was the 19-year-old Forsberg’s first goal as a Predator, and the 18-year-old Jones’ first point as a Predator, as the latter picked up the secondary assist on the play.
