Goran Dragic agrees to deal with Phoenix Suns
Well it didn’t take long for the Phoenix Suns to rebound from their loss of Steve Nash. They replaced their beloved star with a familiar face. Goran Dragic who once backed Steve Nash up, has verbally agreed to a four-year deal worth $34 million.
The Suns have been very active this offseason. They are close to signing Michael Beasley to a deal worth $18 million, and have signed guard Eric Gordon to an offer sheet worth $58 million. This is unusual for the frugal Suns management to go out and throw money around. It’s encouraging to see management try to put some talent out on the floor.
Goran Dragic rose to prominence during the second half of this past season when starting point guard Kyle Lowry was injured. Dragic, also has a player option for a fourth year.
