Wizards start point guard John Wall is having the best season of his young career, guiding the Wizards to the second round of the playoffs. While there are many explanations for why much of this is his hard work, his dedication to playing the point guard position well, and his great teammates, one other possible explanation exists which has to do with his diet. It turns out that John Wall drinks two hot chocolates (with extra sugar) from McDonald’s every day.
That’s right, every day.
Now at first glance, this may seem like just a funny habit that he has, but I can speak from personal experience that drinking hot chocolate on a regular basis can really put your mind at ease. Up here in Berkeley, I have a found a nice cafe that makes some really good hot chocolate. The Mexican spiced hot chocolate is delicious and I highly suggest you try it! But I digress.
The point is that it helps me out mentally with my studies, my sports-writing, etc. I think that it’s safe to say that these two hot chocolates every day from McDonald’s help John Wall out mentally as well by helping him relax. So while it may seem crazy, when we start talking about the Wizards’ playoff success, we must also factor in McDonald’s hot chocolate into the equation.
