(Young Sixers Are Trying To Break This 26 Game Losing Steak)

A Thursday night loss to the Houston Rockets, losing 120-98, may not seem like a huge loss to most NBA teams, however, when your the young, Philadelphia 76ers, it’s a blow out on wheels. The Sixers have tied a NBA Franchise record 26 games in a row. You read right, 26. That ties a Cleveland Cavaliers team who lost 26, after losing LeBron James.

This is coming from a Sixers team, who beat it’s opening day opponet the Miami Heat, 114-110 at the start of the season, Then went on to win four out of there first six games in surprising fashion. Philadelphia won 14 games with in the months of November threw January, and when February 1st rolled around, it was all down hill. The Sixers have not won a game since, Wednesday, January 29th, 2013 when they beat the Boston Celtics by one point 95-94. Philly, will close out March, against the Pistons (26-45) and the Hawks (31-40), two teams who Philly could beat and end this unwanted losing streak.

The Sixers can and will have a bright future, with Michael Carter Williams running the point, and Thaddeus Young and the forward, a soon to be healthy Nerlans Noel, and future draft picks, along with future trades. The Philadelphia 76ers could be in the playoffs in no time.
