According to the SportsCenter Twitter account, former LSU defensive back and Heisman Trophy Finalist Tyrann “Honey Badger” Mathieu will declare for the 2013 NFL Draft. Mathieu was suspended before the start of this season for substance abuse and was also recently arrested for marijuana possession. Mathieu intended to sit out this season and return to the field for LSU, but it now appears he is going to throw his hat into the Draft and see if any NFL squads will take a flyer on him.
