New York Knicks Owner James Dolan has Wikipedia Page Altered
There are many things to know about New York Knicks owner James Dolan in order to really enjoy the humor of this story. He’s filthy rich, the owner of Cablevision, not very well liked amongst his fan-base, and takes a boyish like pride in his band “JD & The Straight Shot.” Now, I can only assume this was done by an upset Knicks fan after they decided to let Jeremy Lin go to the Rockets last night, but somebody broke into the Wikipedia page of “JD & The Straight Shot” and “Linified” their song titles.
Some of the altered titles included “Lost my Lin”, and “Lin-Losin.'” I will give Knicks fans this; they are very clever, and apparently high-tech. The best part is that Dolan is just sensitive enough to really get offended.
I would like to suggest a more traditional solution to the Knick fan if they don’t agree with the decisions being made, don’t show up to games. This is especially true if you hate the owner who will be making all of the important decisions for the foreseeable future. Maybe they could even become Nets fans now that they have moved to Brooklyn as Grantland suggested using the “Lin-Dolan Clause of Desperate Fandom”.
