Jeff Van Gundy thinks Mickael Pietrus should be fined $1,000,000 dollars for his flop

Jeff Van Gundy has made no secret of his dislike for flopping. We hear him countless times complaining on national TV about NBA players flopping like European soccer stars on the court. I don’t blame him. The flopping has been taken to new heights. Then again, so has Van Gundy’s proclamations.

In JVG’s newest outburst he claims the NBA should fine Mickael Pietrus $1 million dollars for his trickery against the Heat’s Mario Chalmers. I’m not sure I would go that far, but a fine should be in order. It is a disgrace what the NBA is turning into. It seems like all you have to do is slide underneath a player when he’s about to go up for an uncontested dunk or layup and just draw a little bit of contact and flop, then VOILA…OFFENSIVE FOUL!
