If I were to make a top list of NBA players I’d never want to meet in an alley (may be coming soon, actually,) Zach Randolph and Kendrick Perkins would definitely be amongst them. You throw those two together, and you have one hell of a confrontation, which is exactly what happened in their match-up tonight when the Grizzlies visited the OKC Thunder.
Both players were ejected in the fourth quarter after a confrontation, but it didn’t stop there. Apparently, there was another altercation after the game as well, and police are looking into the situation.
Here’s the scoop from Darnell Mayberry of the Oklahoman
After getting ejected in the 4th quarter, Kendrick Perkins & Zach Randolph had an alteration near the locker rooms. Police investigating.

My reaction like many of yours I’d imagine is: Whoa. What in the world happened that police have to be involved? Is there video tape of this? Those two throwing down could be a PPV event, and probably better than the
fixed (allegedly) boxing matches we’ve seen in recent years.
I can say with full confidence both of these guys will be hearing from Commissioner Stern, and this is only the beginning of this story. This rivalry just got a whoooooooole lot juicier.
