LeBron Entertains The Cavaliers’ Fans As The Heat Streak Goes To 24!
March Madness has started a day early, only the Cinderella team didn’t pull it out this time. Cleveland Cavaliers were up 67-40 with 7:44 left in the third quarter against the NBA champs, Miami Heat, in their own building, without all-star, Kyrie Irving, in front of a hostile crowd, AND LOST! What gives? This was the chance, at redemption, to give their beloved traitor, LeBron James, a parting gift. Cleveland had the opportunity to link their name to ending the most talked about streak since the ’72 Lakers.
Instead of that parting gift, LeBron sparked a massive comeback in the second half with a triple-double (25pts 12rb 10ast). James also had help from his supporting cast draining three pointers and shutting down Cleveland’s offense in the third and fourth to erase what would have been a terrible way to end their streak. Miami takes the lead late in the fourth quarter and never looked back to extend their winning streak at 24. During the fourth quarter a LeBron fan decided to run past security and on to the court before being escorted by officers. It was reportedly that the fan was wearing a “We Miss You, LeBron”.
