LeBron says he’s “kung-fu master” in regards to elbowing Roy Hibbert.
If last night’s 84-83 win by the Indiana Pacers over the Miami Heat is any indication of how the NBA playoffs will be, then fans are in for a treat. This game had the feel and intensity of a playoff game, and the physicality from both teams to match.
With just under nine minutes remaining, LeBron James drove hard to the rack, where he met resistance from Indiana’s gargantuan center Roy Hibbert. The result was an unintentional elbow by LeBron to Hibbert’s face. James was called for a flagrant on the play and will most likely receive a fine from the league.
However, what LeBron had to say after, per a tweet from Jason Lieser, is pretty hilarious:
LeBron on his flagrant: “If I can jump up in the air and elbow someone in the face and finish a play, I must be a kung-fu master.”

Barring a miracle, the Heat and Pacers will probably meet for the Eastern Conference title. That series will be tough on both teams, and the winner will no doubt be limping into the NBA Finals.
