As free agency dwindles down, one of the notable surprises is that Chicago Bulls guard Nate Robinson has yet to find a home, especially given his emergence in last year’s playoffs. However, don’t expect Robinson to be on the market much longer, as the Denver Nuggets are among the teams vying for his services, according to ESPN’s Marc Stein.
The Nuggets aren’t the only team in the mix, as Alex Kenndy from HOOPSWORLD is reporting Robinson may have his choice of destinations:
Following up on @ESPNSteinLine‘s Nuggets tweet, I’m told Nate Robinson has also received interest from the Wizards, Bucks, Mavs and Lakers.

I am legitimately surprised that Robinson has lasted this long on the market. During his playoff performance, I was certain that a team would scoop him up early in free agency, and give him a decent contract. There is no mystery to what Nate brings to the floor, shooting and energy, and he was the heart and soul of last year’s Chicago Bulls team. It would be nice to see Robinson go to a similar situation, where he can be an energy guy off the bench for a contender, but none of the teams interested in him have that role available.
Among the available options, the Lakers would be an interesting fit, and it wouldn’t take long for Robinson to become a fan favorite of Jack Nicholson and the rest of the Staples Center crowd.
