The Oklahoma City Thunder will have to be without Kevin Durant for at least a little bit longer. Via ESPN.com:
OKLAHOMA CITY — Kevin Durant will return to play in “a week or two,” Thunder coach Scott Brooks said Wednesday.
“He’s progressing,” Brooks said. “We evaluated him today and expect him to return within a week, a week or two weeks.”
The Thunder have been able to hang around in the playoff mix thanks to some superhuman performances by Russell Westbrook, but one has to wonder how much longer they can keep their boat afloat with Kevin Durant sidelined. The depth of this team and the will of Russell Westbrook will continue to be tested until Durant returns.
