The Daily Dish: LeBron James, Rose, Shaq, Camby and the WAG of the day 0

The NFL tends to dominate Sundays from September to early February, but nevertheless there was still some NBA news throughout the day. So in case you were stuck on the couch with some corn chips and booze throughout the day, I’ll hook you up with your basketball fix. Don’t forget the season starts Tuesday!

LeBron James says he is happy for Derrick Rose. I think the basketball world is happy we can finally see the Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls go head-to-head finally. These two teams barring an injury are the two favorites in the Eastern Conference (ESPN)

Marcus Camby is expected to be released by the Houston Rockets on Monday. The 39-year-old isn’t retiring however, and will look to rehab the torn plantar fascia that has been a lingering problem for Camby. (RealGM)

Shaquille O’Neal is endorsing Republican Chris Christie for re-election for Governor of New Jersey (The Daily Beast)

Need for speed? Thomas Robinson was busted for going 107 mph in a 55 mph speed zone. The second year power forward has already been traded twice during his brief NBA career. Robinson probably should save his jollies for the basketball court where he really needs to find a home. (Los That Sports Blog)

Have you seen LeBron James’ new commercial? It crushes those crappy State Farm commercials!

The lovely Daily Dish WAG of the day is Blake Griffin‘s girlfriend, Brynn Cameron.
