Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy is finding himself in a bit of hot water this off-season as ProFootballTalk is reporting McCoy is being sued for assault.
McCoy is being sued over an incident that occurred on a party bus in December 2012.
According to the report, during a trip from Philadelphia to New York City, the plaintiff who is suing McCoy claims she was punched in the face and thrown off the bus.
“The plaintiff, a female suing under the “Jane Roe” pseudonym, alleges that McCoy and/or his bodyguard (John Doe a/k/a “Big John”) punched the plaintiff in the face, held her down and poured a beverage over her, and ejected her from the bus, all of which occurred after she complained about being sprayed with water.
After others on the bus complained about the plaintiff being stranded along the side of the road, McCoy allegedly allowed her back on the bus but then left her at a rest stop. The plaintiff claims that she reported the incident to New Jersey police.”
The plaintiff is suing McCoy for more than $50,000 in damages from the alleged assault.
