There’s an old saying that states a picture is worth a thousand words. For frustrated New York Jets fans, this one might invoke a few more than that.
Last season, the Jets went 6-10, behind a passing offense that struggled mightily with Mark Sanchez at the helm and a Rex Ryan defense that was less intimidating than it had been in past years. Add in the drama that Tim Tebow brought to the team in the past year, and the trade of shutdown cornerback Darrelle Revis to the Buccaneers, and it has been a season of disappointment for Jets fans.
The team has faced a ton of scrutiny in recent years, as the team has taken significant steps back following two seasons that both ended in AFC Championship Game appearances. Safe to say, the team might be losing the faith of a good number of fans. Ben Shpigel of the New York Times was at New York Jets training camp Saturday and snapped this photo of a Jets fan with a very original t-shirt:

Depending on who you are, this shirt could invoke many different thoughts. For others, maybe it just brings to mind one great big thought that may or may not be the butt fumble.
