This morning, Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III announced via his Twitter that the doctors have cleared him for practice and he will be with the team in Richmond, Virginia for their training camp.
Doctors cleared me to practice. Coach is going to ease me in. Thank you for your support & See you in Richmond

Since Griffin III’s surgery for tearing his ACL and LCL, Washington Redskins fans have been hoping the quarterback will be ready by week one.
If Griffin III can practice with the team and participate in training camp, the possibilities of him starting week one continue to grow.
It is also interesting to see that Griffin III mentioned that head coach Mike Shanahan is going to ease him back into practice. Shanahan has come under fire for playing Griffin when he was already injured. Griffin III injured himself twice last season, with the last coming during the team’s playoff loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
If Griffin III is ready by week one, the team’s season outlook becomes a lot more positive than if back up Kirk Cousin is starting.
