According to the Riverside (Cal.) Press-Enterprise, former Detroit Lions wide receiver Titus Young has started the process of getting his legal affairs in order.
Titus Young did not live up to the expectations that were placed on him by the Detroit Lions when they drafted him in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He played two seasons for the Lions, playing in 26 games while recording 81 receptions for 990 yards and 10 touchdowns. After being cut, the Rams took a chance by signing him but released him soon after.
Young has since been arrested numerous times, most notably for driving under the influence and proceeding to break into the police impound yard to steal his car back in May 2013. He plead guilty on Friday to one count of disturbing the peace after this incident and paid a $35 fine. Young still has 11 other pending charges that include four felony burglary counts. He is due back in court on March 20.
It is unclear whether or not Young will face jail time for his pending charges.
