With the news of Adrian Peterson being deactivated this week after a warrant for his arrest was issued in Montgomery County, Texas, the NFL is again abuzz with negative news. Only a week after TMZ released the video of Ray Rice assaulting his wife in an elevator, the NFL is dealing with another abuse case, this time abuse of a child. Peterson turned himself in on Friday night and the NFL has yet to announce whether or not Peterson will be punished.
This morning, on ESPN’s NFL Countdown former Minnesota Vikings receiver Cris Carter became emotional while discussing child abuse.
Carter discussed the difficulties his mother had raising seven children and while she did her best, some of the things she did were wrong.
