New York Giants G Chris Snee made a name for himself aside from being the son in-law to coach Tom Coughlin. Snee, a four-time Pro Bowler, has battled numerous injuries the past couple of seasons, and is now set to retire from the NFL.

This is an unfortunate loss for the Giants on the offensive line, as Snee was one of the leaders of the group. The team certainly missed him last year, along with other key guys like Shaun O’Hara on the O-line, who were a huge part of the Giants two Super Bowl championship runs. However, the G-Men made an effort to address their line deficiencies both in the draft and free agency, so hopefully some of new additions pan out and keep QB Eli Manning upright.

Snee played ten years in the NFL, and his hard-nosed style of play represented the Giants perfectly. He will undoubtedly be missed on Sundays.
