Jeff Tuel Gives #8 back to Brian Moorman
Jeff Tuel may not have played the best after EJ Manuel got hurt week 5 against the Browns. He wont even start this week against the Bengals. But one thing he has in spades, is class. Tuel, who is an undrafted free agent rookie QB, wears #8. Bills just resigned long time punter Brian Moorman, who for 11 years, wore #8. Moorman revealed today on twitter that Tuel voluntarily gave Moorman his #8 back.
Tuel also confirmed on Twitter that he will be switching to #7.
Head coach Doug Marrone said in an interview after practice this week that their ideal QB situation has drastically changed from the original plan.
Marrone: “In a perfect world it would have been EJ, a veteran QB, and Jeff Tuel on prac squad” Tuel’s preseason & QB injuries changed plans. — Buffalo Bills (@buffalobills) October 7, 2013
