Three Areas the New York Mets Should Address This Offseason
Only two things are certain for the Mets in 2014. First, Terry Collins will be back as he signed a two year extension last week that will keep him here through the 2015 season with an option for 2016. The second is that Matt Harvey will miss the entire season due to Tommy John surgery. The announcement was not a surprise, but will hurt the Mets chances for next season. They are going to have to make a lot of moves anyway, but officially losing Harvey for next year will make things more difficult.
That being said, the Mets need to address a lot of positions on the field for next year. Since we don’t have all day to tear up the entire roster aside from David Wright, let’s take a look at three of their weakest positions.
