Ronda Rousey and Floyd “Money” Mayweather have had one hell of a back and forth battle of late. The war of words don’t seem like they will be going away anytime soon, either. It would seem hard to believe that a fight would actually happen between Mayweather and Rousey. However, since we’re on the topic, could Rousey actually hold her own against an athlete of Mayweather’s caliber?
Rousey certainly thinks she could. At any rate, since we’re on this hypothetical, what would be the MMA betting lines to a fight like this? It’s hard to speculate who would be favored, but judging by UFC interim featherweight champion Conor McGregor. The Irish MMA fighter believes Rousey would dismantle Floyd.
If you matched up both fighters, Mayweather stands at 5’8 and weighs 151 pounds. Rousey, on the other hand, stands at 5’7 and weighs 135 pounds. Both fighters are very strong and muscular, but having an extra inch and 15 pounds is a nice advantage to have — oh, outside of having the ultra advantage of being a male.
This probably wouldn’t be a great idea for Floyd to ever even consider a fight with a woman considering his past issues with domestic violence.
Sorry Floyd Mayweather haters, you’ll just have to wait for his last fight to happen if you’re hoping to see the champion get his butt kicked.
