Aaron Brooks to sign with the Bulls

Free agent point guard Aaron Brooks is expected to sign to sign and finalize a deal with the Chicago Bulls, according to ESPN.

The Bulls now have three point guards on their anticipated depth chart for the 2014-2015 NBA season, with Derrick Rose and Kirk Hinrich as their top two. Rose is coming off two straight injury-riddled seasons and Hinrich re-signed with the Bulls almost a week ago.

Chicago will add Brooks based on his scoring ability off the bench. Brooks played for the Rockets and Nuggets last season and averaged 9.0 points and 3.2 assists per game while splitting between both teams.

The Bulls have been busy this offseason after falling through with a deal for free agent Carmelo Anthony. Brooks joins new additions Pau Gasol and Nikola Mirotic, as well as hyped rookie Doug McDermott.
