Amar’e Stoudemire Might Start In D-League?

  • Mark Evans

The Knicks have experienced a great deal of success so far this season without the player who was once the center piece of their team, Amar’e Stoudemire. With Stoudemire injured, the Knicks have meshed in a new way, and start at 18-5.

With Stoudemire set to come back at some point in the near future, people have been speculating as to how the Knicks will find some space for him. The $100 million man might actually have to start off in the D-League, as crazy as it sounds.

Imagine Stoudemire playing in the D-League? It would certainly be a fall of grace from someone once considered one of the best players in the league.

Amar’e had a great start to his tenure with the Knicks, but has yet to fully mesh with fellow star Carmelo Anthony.

  • It’s pretty crazy to think that this could happen, but for healing purposes, and to let the Knicks ease into meshing in a new way with Melo and Stoudemire on the hardwood together, it’s a good choice for the Knicks organization to make.
