Brandon Roy Has Setbacks With Knee Rehab
At this point, it’s getting sad watching Brandon Roy try to get his body into playing condition.
Roy retired from the Blazers a few years ago, primarily due to medical issues, and has since made a comeback with the Timberwolves. He’s only played in 5 games this season, as his chronic knee problems haven’t seemed to improve much. According to Adrian Wojnarowski, he has suffered even more setbacks, and his return is unknown.
Minnesota’s Brandon Roy has had setbacks in knee rehab and a return date is uncertain, league source tells Y! Sports.

After surgery last month, Roy had returned to Minnesota practice before issues with knees forced him to step away again in past 48 hours.

Minnesota has to start wondering if they’ll really get anything from Brandon Roy this season. His knees are close to being replacement-level, and there aren’t many signs of improvement.
Hopefully he can get back on the court at some point this season, but the doubt is certainly there.
