Chandler Parsons weighs in on LeBron’s future

  • Andy Flint

Houston Rockets’ forward, Chandler Parsons, recently dropped in on ESPN’s Sportsnation, and brought an atomic bomb of a statement with him. Parsons, while weighing in on the NBA Finals, and namely LeBron James, went on to say that he feels like if Miami loses the Finals, LeBron James will opt out, and we’ll all be watching him play in a different uniform next season.

Marcellus Wiley quickly jumped on Parsons, saying he’s trying to “recruit” LeBron to play in Houston, but I assure you that isn’t the case. If LeBron finds a way to play with James Harden and Dwight Howard, in Houston, Parson’s would likely become the sacrificial lamb in that scenario. After all, they do play the same position, and in the case of a sign-and-trade, Parsons is the most lucrative player on the Rocket’s roster, not named Harden or Howard.

The fact of the matter is this. The Heat have won two titles in three years. They’re down 3-1 to the San Antonio Spurs right now, and are looking down the barrel of a fishing trip.

Will we see LeBron in a different uniform for the 2014-15 NBA season? Where could you see The King landing?
