Clippers’ Chris Paul Targets A Weekend Return
The Clippers have been without their star point guard Chris Paul since he went down with a separated shoulder injury on January 3rd against the Mavericks. But they might be getting him back a tad sooner than expected. According to reports, Chris Paul is targeting a return this weekend, which means he is hoping to play either Friday against the Raptors or Sunday against the 76ers.
The Clippers currently are 4th in the Western Conference with a 34-17 record, and have gone 11-5 since Paul went down. They have certainly weathered the storm since his absence, and being just 5.5 games back of the top seeded Thunder, the Clippers will definitely be gunning for the top spot in the West once they get Paul back.
