David West and the Pacers didn’t believe LeBron was hurt

The Indiana Pacers and Miami Heat went at it again for the second time in eight days Wednesday night. The Heat overcame a 15-point deficit to take the win for a final of 97-94. Chris Bosh and Ray Allen hit two huge three pointers down the stretch of a game that the Pacers controlled throughout. This led to David West voicing his opinion on not only the loss, but also the injury LeBron James has been coping with.

“They stole the game from us,” West said.

Via Sun Sentinel:

The Pacers weren’t buying James being physical off.

“You guys buy into the hype of him being hurt and all that other stuff,” Indiana power forward David West said. “We don’t believe that.”

Judging by James stat line you wouldn’t have known he was injured. LeBron said he was about a 7 on a scale 1-10 with the recovery process. These two teams don’t play again until March when the Eastern Conference number one seed may be on the line. These two teams may be the best new rivalry in the NBA and fans won’t want to miss the last two games coming down the stretch of the season.
