Syracuse’s 7-footer, Fab Melo, has been axed from the Cuse roster for the NCAA Tourney. Syracuse University will get set to battle the field, minus their starting center, during March Madness.
Cuse announced on their website on Tuesday that the sophomore center would miss the NCAA Tourney due to this ineligibility.
Due to the federal student privacy laws and University policy, no further details on the matter were disclosed.
The Orange now must face a tremendous uphill battle as their #1 seed is on the line in March, and they’ll have to give the tourney a go without one of the most vital pieces.
