J.R. Smith: I’ll Get A Knicks Tattoo If We Win Championship
J.R. Smith is definitely one of the most interesting players in the NBA. He’s always in the news for something, good or bad. Following him on Twitter is always an experience in itself, and watching him jack up jumpers is even better. The New York Knicks fans have learned to both love him and hate him.
Also, if you haven’t noticed, J.R. Smith has a lot of tattoos. Like, a lot. And he has plans of adding one of the New York Knicks logo, as long as his team wins the NBA Championship. Seriously. Via the NY Post:
J.R. Smith has 100 tattoos, including Yankees and Devils logos.
If the Knicks break their 40-year championship drought, Smith vowed to add orange-and-blue ink to his body for No. 101.
Yes, a Knicks tattoo could be coming, even though he is a free agent this summer.
“If we win a championship, I’ll definitely get it,’’ Smith told The Post. “Other than that, I’m not sure yet.’’
At this point, would we even be able to notice the tattoo? It seems like his entire body is inked up, and it can be hard to make out what some of the tattoos even are.
If the New York Knicks can somehow find a way to win the championship, I think J.R. Smith’s tattoos will be the last thing on everyone’s mind. Can you imagine how ridiculously crazy that parade would be? Can you imagine Smith, Melo, Rasheed Wallce, etc. at the after party?
