Jeremy Lin says he’ll be an All-Star
It would be a fair and accurate assessment to say Jeremy Lin has been mostly hype in his brief stint thus far with the Houston Rockets. Averaging 10.5PPG, 6 APG and 4.5 RPG is nothing to sniff your nose up at, but hardly what the Rockets thought they would be getting. His air ball against the Heat that could have propelled the Rockets to victory just added to his personal struggles against the team that was responsible for killing “Linsanity.
Still, despite having some struggles with the Rockets, the former Knicks’ point guard still thinks he’ll eventually be an All-Star.
“At some point, for sure. Right now I have a ways to go, but at some point, yes. I try to get better every year, and if I do that and work on the things that are problems for me right now, I definitely think I’ll have that chance.”
Although Lin is shooting only 34 percent on the young season, he has had some good games. Against Atlanta Lin put up 21 points, 10 assists and 7 rebounds. It’s the inconsistency that has been his biggest problem thus far. His Rockets are 4-7 and struggling, but that could all change Friday night when Lin sets out for a victory over the team that let him walk…the New York Knicks.
