Kyle Korver’s three-point streak was saved by a text message from unlikely source
Kyle Korver recently broke Dana Barro’s three-point record by hitting at least one three pointer in 90 consecutive games. Korver breaking Barro’s previous record of 89 games is a great accomplishment, but like any long streak you need a little luck to go your way. And the luck Korver got came in the way of an assistant coach’s wife. The story is a great one as Korver was on the bench during a blowout about a year ago against the Orlando Magic when the assistant coach’s wife sent a text message to her husband informing him that he needed to get Korver into the game so that he could keep his streak alive.
