LeBron James blocks Tyson Chandler

  • Andy Flint

LeBron gives the current defensive player of the year, Tyson Chandler, a quick lesson in his own craft with a big-time denial on Chandler’s dunk attempt.

This rejection by “King james” came with about 4 minutes and 20 seconds left in the 1st quarter of Wednesday night’s game five matchup between the Heat and Knicks in Miami.

Chandler does a nice job of faking the screen and Mike Bibby tries to reward the big fella with a textbook pass, but LeBron says “not in my house” as he swoops in for the nice block.

This play would eventually end in a Mike Bibby three from the corner, but Mike Miller quickly responded with a three of his own down at the other end.

The Knickerbockers led 17-14 at this point but would fall to the Heat 106-94. The New York Knicks have officially joined The Utah Jazz, Dallas Mavericks and the Orlando Magic on their off-season “Gone Fishing” trip.
