Mavericks agree to terms with José Calderón

  • PTP Staff

The Dallas Mavericks have agree in principles to a four-year contract worth $29 million with the 31-year-old, José Calderón.  Calderón split time last season with both Toronto Raptors and the Detroit Pistons where he average 11.3ppg and 7.1apg.  The eight year veteran will fit in nicely at the point guard position as the Mavericks are in need of a floor general.

Is this the start of plan B for the Mavericks?  The Mavericks were informed early in the day on Friday that Dwight Howard would not be coming to Dallas.  Mark Cuban isn’t one to dwell so here is a move that makes sense.
