Only a few weeks ago, reports were that MWP had indicated he’d like to return to the Knicks, now that his past coach Phil Jackson being a major part of New York basketball. Now remember, World Peace said this only days before he’d signed last summers deal with the Knicks:
“I don’t really want to play for anybody, I don’t want to go anywhere. I want to go to China, or coach or play arena football.” And a couple of days ago he tweeted this:
One day til china ? I met with three teams. Wow. One team remaining . Meaning, deal is done. Just have to sign now. Almost there China!!! — mettaworldpeace.com (@MettaWorldPeace) July 29, 2014
This could be one of the best move’s MWP has made for his career. He’ll most likely be making more than the veteran minimum, and the endorsement deals will be coming from everywhere. Cameron Wilkosz – @cavaliercam13
