Paul George Fined $25,000 For Complaining About Officiating

  • Mark Evans

Well, no big surprise here.

Paul George was quite vocal about his feelings after last night’s loss to the Miami Heat. He clearly wasn’t willing to take responsibility for his team’s struggles, so, the referees are a good enough scapegoat. Now, he’ll pay the price for his words.

This is a perfect representation of Indiana’s struggles. They lose a game, and instead of looking at themselves in the mirror, the attention goes directly to something else.

$25K will hurt PG’s pockets, but I’m sure an exit in the Eastern Conference Finals would hurt much more. It doesn’t seem like we’re very far away from that happening.
