Paul George questions Pacers basketball IQ
Despite the Indiana Pacers having the best record in the Eastern Conference, the team has been struggling as of late. This prompted Frank Vogel to tell his team that they need to get their swagger back. With a 50-18 record, and leading the two-seeded Miami Heat by three games, most teams would take that scenario any day of the week.
However, the Pacers have bigger things on their mind and struggling entering the last phase of the regular season isn’t a good sign moving towards the playoffs. This led Paul George to call out his team after a loss to the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday.

Afterward, the frustration boiled over in the Pacers’ locker room. George questioned his team’s basketball IQ. Roy Hibbert and David West questioned their teammates’ unselfishness.
“We’ve got to be able to play at a higher pace and a higher IQ,” George said.
This probably is a minor speed bump in the Pacers quest to reach the NBA Finals. They have a lot of work to do still including a probable Eastern Conference showdown with the Miami Heat for the second consecutive year. But this happens to most teams, including the aforementioned Miami Heat as they are experiencing their own difficulties currently as well.
